City Winery Chicago at the Riverwalk
The dyeing of the Chicago River is a popular option for Chicagoans so if you haven’t already check it out. Will you need to get there early in the morning? Yes. Will you be around people that just drank their first beer or beers of the morning? Yes. City Winery will be hosting a drink and viewing party if you will during the dyeing of the river with food, drinks and live music. Come early it’s first come first serve, reservations not accepted.
Drink at The SoFo Tap
If you a part of the LGBTQ community or know someone who is, take a stroll up North to The SoFo tap. There will be options of beer, whiskey, festival green miller lites and more. There is also a Kilt part that starts at 9pm and a drag show at midnight! Support the LGBTQ community and have fun up in Uptown!
Go to the Family-Friendly St. Patrick’s Festival
The Irish Heritage Center will host a family-friendly event is ideal for families with kids of all ages. This event lasts all day and offers food, activities, music and art exhibitions! For the mature crowd or kids with little ones, this might be one to think about!
Take time to Appreciate Underground Musical Talent
Go to the St.Patrick’s Day Bash aka Kahala’s Bash and enjoy some tunes from DJ, Khalil-ullah,
Syren and Kahala Elizabeth. Support local entertainment. Cash bar is available!
Recovery Brunch at WestEnd
St.Patrick’s Day doesn’t have to end on Saturday. Go get your brunch on at WestEnd with $20 mimosas and build-your-own Bloody Marys! Go to WestEnd and get yourself hooked up with some yummy eats and $20 mimosa and build-your-own bloody! Into March Madness?
